Got the post donut-day blues? Don’t be sad, here’s some cute art from Donut County!
Ben Esposito, (AKA TorahHorse)’s, Donut County is a super cutesy physics game about exploring negative space with holes! Think of Katamari, except instead of starting as a small ball that gradually rolls everything up into a giant ball to shoot out into the solar system because your dad likes to destroy universes, you’re a hole that grows as you explore and solve puzzles in the game while sucking everything that you’re large enough to absorb into your bottomless void.
Featured and highly praised at independent gaming events and festivals for excellence in visual art and experimental gameplay, Ben Esposito’s creation is one of many visual/audio projects, one of those recent projects being Anamanaguchi’s Capsule Silence XXIV.
You can check out more of Ben Esposito’s projects HERE!

Coming out to E3 2015?
IndieCade is back for its ninth year at the expo and will be exhibiting the finest of over 700 early submissions from the IndieCade Festival in October, including some from partners at PlayStation, LOOT Interactive, and Intel!
I’ll be running demos at the IndieCade Showcase (located in the South Hall, Booth 601) on Tuesday (6/16) morning and all day on Wednesday (6/17)! Come by, say hi to the devs, give me high fives, and let’s play some games!
Here’s the ultra-snazzy lineup of games that will be on the E3 show floor this year! (I’m especially looking forward to playing the interactive, Alice in Wonderland-based pop up book Curiouser and Curiouser!… oh, and ROCKETS, ROCKETS, ROCKETS again. And always. Always rockets.): http://indiecade.com/e3_2015/games
Geek & Sundry will also be streaming from our lounge, so if you want to potentially stare awkwardly at Felicia Day, now’s your chance to do it! But if you’re not able to be at the expo in person, you can catch them as they play games and interview developers on Twitch! – http://www.twitch.tv/geekandsundry
IndieCade will also be co-sponsoring Glitch City’s Demo Night at Glitch City LA on Wednesday, June 17th at 8PM, where top-knotch indie devs will be inspiring and entertaining guests throughout the night. Glitch City is one of my favorite tech-centric venues in the area where devs and artists of all sorts get together to mingle, so I’d highly recommend swinging by for the after party!
